If the COMMISSION is LOW it will NOT SHOW

By code of Ethics, real estate agents are supposed to show any house irregardless of the broker split. But lately we've been noticing an uptrend on broker split as an incentive to buyers agents.

Builders are also getting in on the act by offering 6% to 10% to entice buyers agent to bring them their buyers. So where does that leave the 2%-ters? This is not rocket science folks: If the commission is LOW, it will not SHOW; if the commission is HIGH, it will FLY.

TIP: There is so much inventory out there. Most houses look alike, inspite of how different you think your house may look. If there are 8 houses on the market similar to yours and 4 are offering 3% or higher to buyers agent, and you are offering 2% for yours, chances are you'll be able to sympathize with the guy on this photo.

At Tampa4u, we show buyers as many homes as it will take until their head spin. When listing a house, we always offer buyers agent 3% or more regardless of how little we make. Our clients are our priority whether they're buying or selling. - Erich Caparas (tampa4u.com)
